A visit to the Beyerler Fondation and the Vitra Campus This past weekend my Uni course went on a trip to Lörrach to visit both the Beyerler Fondation and the Vitra Design Campus. It was the opening night of the “Night Fever. Designing Club Culture 1960 – Today” at Vitra and we combined that with a visit to the Georg Baselitz exhibition at the Beyerler Fondation. Starting off at the Beyerler Fondation. They are showing a retrospective of Georg Baselitz, one of Germanys most well-known artists, to celebrate his 80th Birthday this year. Although I can’t say I’m a massive fan of all his art, it was interesting to see the development of an artist over the course of a lifetime. Here are some examples of his work that I really loved.
