These pictures were taken a few weeks ago when my boyfriend and I spent a few days in Berlin. I had a job interview (which didn’t work out in the end – which probably is a good thing) and Dominik decided to accompany me which was very nice! We stayed in a cute Hostel/Hotel hybrid called Schulz Hotels. I’m pretty sure it’s a chain but I can really recommend it. The price per night is really cheap, you can book breakfast or use the communal kitchens and decide between a private (more hotel style) or group room (like in hostels). We took these pictures on our second day in Berlin. We started out having coffee and croissants at a local café and then made our way over to the “Hackesche Markt”. It is described as (one of the many) creative centres in Berlin. After the war, many artists and…

Hello lovely people 🙂 Seeing as the last two posts were more about travel and places and not so much about fashion I thought I’d get some photos together that are just based around outfits and what I wore (… in different places). These photos were taken by my trusty photographer boyfriend when I went to visit him in Münster. I believe this was in February, where we had a few rays of sunshine and relatively warm weather – you could still wear this outfit now… which is why I wanted to share it. This outfit is made up of a few favourite old pieces which are classics mixed with some (then) new in bits. The Jaeger coat I have talked about before – my best sale find from about 3 years ago now. It really is such a staple piece. It goes with everything and I like that it…

Here is a bit of a picture-heavy post to celebrate this wonderful (and very late) summer… These pictures were taken on the way home to my parents after a night-out for a friends 30th… so feeling a bit delicate but this flowy Zara dress was perfect for the occasion (i.e. hangover brunch). Seeing as it’s a pretty simple dress it goes well with some more statement boots, which I got last year but are a big trend for this season. Kind of hoping for colder weather now… time to get out those jumpers and coats! Much love! Thanks to Dominik Emmert for the photos.

Last week was my 24th Birthday. It’s crazy how another year flew by and how dates like this kind of creep up on you even when you’ve been expecting them (do you know what I mean?). So, it’s time for some reflection… My 23rd year in life has been a good one. I finished my bachelor’s degree with a grade far better than I had expected and immediately went on to study a master’s degree in Creative Communication and Brand Management which I then changed, one term in, to Creative Direction. While it might be difficult to understand the difference between the two courses, the degree I am studying now is far more creative and has led to a personal development over the past few months which I am equally surprised by and also very happy about. Suffice to say: it was a great decision. This year, or more…

Day Out in Stuttgart So before I start writing and posting stuff from our trip to Milan (which was amazing btw) I still have some photos to share taken some time before. Hope you enjoy! A few weeks ago, on a nice and sunny Friday my friend Lily and I decided to take a trip to Stuttgart, which is one of the next big towns to where we are studying. We spent the morning browsing the shops – it was Glamour shopping week (where the magazine collaborates with a few different stores on promotions and discounts) and well it would be rude not to. We met up with my boyfriend for lunch, who didn’t fancy traipsing around the shops but couldn’t pass up the opportunity for good sushi. There is a small restaurant called “QQ” which I might do a post on in the future. It’s really yummy and not…

This week has been pretty busy – working on Monday, uni Tuesday through Friday and then a seminar this weekend. I’m learning a lot but I do wish there was a break in between… Also leaving on Monday for Milan and then a seminar that weekend too. Ah well. Looking forward to it though. These photos were taken at the beginning of the year – but seeing as I have only just started this blog I thought I would share them anyway. There is not too much to say about them other than that I really like this jumper (from the Zara sale) and that they were taken on a really lovely Sunday when my boyfriend and I went for a brief (cold) walk, made chicken pot pie and watched “Peaky Blinders”. Pretty perfect Sunday for me. Hope you’re having a good day.

One thing I like to do when putting outfits together is search for inspiration on Pinterest. Sometimes there will be a specific piece of clothing that inspires me but other times I want to recreate the whole look. Such as in this case. I love this smart-casual look that Selena (or her stylist, who knows) put together. It’s super simple and I think it would work for many occasions. I wore it out for lunch on a sunny day. I feel like these are pieces that lots of people will have in their wardrobe. A lot of the time Instagram/ YouTube etc. makes me want to buy the latest trends and pieces I see on famous bloggers (and not gonna lie a lot of the time I do…) but it makes me forget how many (many) things I already have. The only thing that I bought this year are the…

One of the reasons I started this blog was to show that you can have style and wear fun clothes no matter what your budget. I am currently studying a master’s degree and while I do still have some support from my parents I also work to earn extra money (which I then mainly spend on clothes). I think that it is so easy to find pieces that you love on the high street which you can wear over and over again. But even when on a budget it is still possible to snag some more expensive (and maybe longer lasting) pieces along the way. As we are slowly coming into Spring this look has some of my favourite investment pieces that I wore over winter and some of which can easily work for the whole year. So starting with the coat – I actually got it in the sales…

Hi, My name is Jemima and I am a 23-year-old fashion lover who has finally decided to take the plunge and see what the blogging world is really like. I say finally as this seems like years in the making. I have taken photos of my outfits since I got my first digital camera at age 13. I have always loved the creativity of getting dressed in the morning – deciding what to wear has a huge impact on my mood and motivation for the day. Fashion/style or whatever you would like to call it is more for me than just clothes. It is a way to express yourself and get creative, it is how you communicate to the world who you are and where you want to go. It is such a big part of who I am as a person that I have decided to create a place…
